Growing up in shadow of Los Angeles, Adam decided to wander into the local wilderness alone… As a youth he lived a reclusive life in the Santa Monica Mountains, away from food, shelter, and family. A pack of mountain lions took him in, accepting him as one of their own. These years, Adam says, were the most important to his spiritual and emotional growth as he finally felt a sense of belonging. He learned not only to respect nature, but also to love it. He learned to coexist with the natural environment and to acknowledge its presence in himself and society as a whole. After learning so much from nature, Adam was urged by his family of mountain lions to continue his studies and to teach others of his kind the same important lessons he had learned, so he applied to USC where he is now pursuing a B.A. in Interpretive Dance.
Just kidding, he is a senior studying Environmental Studies and Business Administration. Adam enjoys spending his time exploring and appreciating the awesome natural wonders of Southern California and the world.
