A native of Bozeman, Montana, and the daughter of a wilderness ranger mother and an Alaskan- and Andes-mountain guide father, Allegra really had no choice in becoming a nature fanatic. She spent much of her childhood in one of these bad boys traveling through the rugged peaks of the Northwest and was lucky to learn about the wonders of the great oudoors at an early age. Allegra’s parents received many a call from her preschool whenever she mentioned that she wanted to bring “gorp” to show and tell or spent her recesses organizing her classmates into adventure squads and leading them off of school property and into the woods… but she somehow managed to graduate preschool and make it here to USC.
Now a senior studying Human Biology and Biomedical Science, Allegra has loved being able to get involved at USC. You can usually find her in the mountains, in the stacks studying while awaiting the zombie apocalypse (seriously though, it’s terrifying down there), adding new ideas to an already epic wanderlust list of adventures, road tripping, or looking for others to join her on said adventures. After a killer semester in South Africa and a summer in Australia and Canada, Allegra is stoked for another year of totally excellent trips!
