Annie lives a double life. With a very small percentage of the world knowing her real name, there’s no telling what kind of trouble she might stir up. Annie grew up on the mean streets of a Detroit suburb, and is thankful none of you have access to any of her middle school photos. Believe it or not, she happened to LOVE the gaucho pant trend. Some have even reported that she looked like a “potato with a mullet” for a short period of time. But bopping around as an awkward tween wasn’t the only thing she did. Annie was constantly active with swimming/lacrosse/cross-country and always tried her best to get outside.
Despite digging the outdoors, Annie’s first overnight experience didn’t happen until her senior year of high school, when she went on a nine day backpacking trip to Killarney Provincial Park. After over a week off the grid (without even a watch to tell time), ya girl became obsessed. So upon deciding to got to USC, she searched up a way to explore the California wilderness and joined SC Outfitters. Annie was lucky to have gone on some rad trips and can’t wait to lead some of her own!
Other fun facts about Annie:
– She studies Industrial and Systems engineering and works in a lab that studies how artificial intelligence can help stop poaching in Uganda.
– Her favorite word is “escarpment”
– She has an irrational fear of Jim Carrey and the Denver Airport.
