Jeremy Schwartz’s love of the outdoors stems from his summers spent as a camper and
counselor at Skylake Yosemite Camp. Here, he not only loved to play pranks on other cabins
but go explore the nearby Sierra Mountain Range and Yosemite Valley. During this time he also
went on his first backpacking trip, which consisted of freezing in his thin sleeping bag on a bed
of pinecones. And even despite his lack of sleep, it turned out to one of the greatest night’s of
his life. His later adventures include midnight ascents of Half Dome and Cloud’s Rest to catch
the sunrise over Yosemite Valley.
Jeremy is now a senior pursing a degree in International Relations and a minor in
Entrepreneurship. His other passions include playing the drums in the band Pratley, sleeping in
Tiger Onesies and throwing gang signs.
