Molly is a senior pursuing a B.A. in Fine Arts, with an emphasis in Design, as well as a minor in Natural Sciences. Growing up in Northern California, Molly fell in love with the outdoors in the El Dorado National Forest, Yosemite Valley and Point Reyes Seashore, where she hiked, swam, skied and camped with her friends and family. As old-school backpackers, her parents fostered her love for the beauty of nature, the smell of hot chocolate cooking in the mornings, and full, bright 365-degree views of the stars; some pieces of their weird, ancient gear travels to the backcountry with her to this day. Her recent outdoor travels have taken her climbing, surfing and summiting (affectionately coined) all over Southern California.
This is Molly’s second year as a guide! She couldn’t be more excited to be a part of SC Outfitters and spread her passion for the outdoors and adventure to USC and the greater Los Angeles community. She is thrilled to learn from the extremely dedicated and experienced other guides, as well as those undiscovered outward-bound students. .
SC Outfitters is Molly’s favorite thing to do on campus, whether it is leading a trip or just hanging out with fellow members and guides. A place of acceptance and welcome, adventures and challenges, fresh air and beauty, Outfitters uniquely fosters a deeper community at USC through a joint love of the outdoors, and she is thrilled to be involved. She can’t wait to dive into the amazing range of outdoor activities that LA has to offer!
