Rachel is a senior pursuing a major in Global Health and a minor in Psychology. Raised in St. Cloud MN on the Mississippi River, outdoor adventures were a way of life while growing up. Rachel spent nearly every childhood summer in Ely, MN near the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and Canadian Wilderness. Living in the Land of 10,000 Lakes sparked an immediate love for the water and Rachel soon found a passion for canoeing, kayaking, fishing and camping.
Upon moving to So Cal, Rachel discovered how amazing mountains, hiking, and deserts can be and has since taken every opportunity she can to explore the wonders of California and the Southwest. Rachel’s favorite thing about nature is the ability it has to be the great equalizer and the way it can calm and inspire you in ways you didn’t realize were possible. As a new guide this fall, Rachel is incredibly excited and honored to be a part of the team and can’t wait to explore with everyone!
