Rachel is a graduate student from Atlanta, Georgia pursuing a MA degree in Occupational Therapy. She majored in Neuroscience as an undergrad at USC. As a kid, her southern daddy taught her to fish and hunt, and she learned how to field dress a deer before she knew how to drive a car. As she grew older, she began to really appreciate the great outdoors. She spent a semester studying abroad in New Zealand where she went backpacking, rock climbing, and cave camping.
During her summers in undergrad, Rachel has worked for a camp in Atlanta for children with autism, taking them hiking as well as rafting down the Chattahoochee River, an experience that has made her learn the therapeutic wonders of nature. Since LA can be quite the concrete jungle, Rachel likes getting off the grid during the weekends. She has competed in numerous triathlons, and this year wants to take up mountain biking. She is excited for another year with SC Outfitters!
