At SC Outfitters, we understand that schedules change which is why we try to accommodate all unforeseen circumstances. Should something come up, please note that we abide by the refund policies below.
Overnight & Day Trips
In order to request a refund, the participant should contact the guides listed in the contact section of the trip’s description at least 5 days before the trip departs.
After the participant has communicated their refund request, we will attempt to find a substitute from the waitlist for the trip and/or member community.
If a substitute is found, a full refund minus a 5% penalty (or $75, whichever is less) will be returned to the original participant. The refund will be administered and processed through the payment system used for the original transaction and will typically result with a credit back to the payment option within 1-2 business days after the request has been processed.
If a substitute is not found, a refund will not be granted and the trip reservation will be considered forfeit.
Should this happen, all participants will be granted a full refund including transaction fees.
However, certain circumstances lend to alternative considerations. We deal with this issue on a case by case basis, and encourage you to contact us in regards to these exculpatory circumstances.
