Come join us for an exciting backpacking trip around Silver Peak. Located in the Ventana Wilderness, you can expect beautiful vistas, waterfalls, hiking, and much more on this trip. We’ll be exploring 20 miles of trail, making it one of the longest backpacking trips SC Outfitters has run. If you love backpacking, beautiful places, and hanging out on the trail with other cool SC Outfitters members like yourself, this is the trip for you!
Be warned though – if you’re trying to find an easy trip, look elsewhere. This trip is designed to be both very challenging and very rewarding – we’ll be pushing ourselves by hiking 8-9 miles per day, and relaxing with good food and good company at night.
Meet: We will be leaving from the Lyon Center at 6am on Friday morning.
Return: We will be back late Sunday night.
Pre-Trip Meeting: Wednesday Mar. 21, 8pm at the VKC arches
Cost: $85
We will go over what to bring at the pre-trip meeting and you will be sent a packing checklist via email.
