STRENUOUS but chillllll
Imagine backpacking in Big Sur and not being surrounded by 57 other naked, Swedish randos. Instead, come be surrounded by 19 clothed (optional), affable kinspeople from USC.
THIS IS NOT A DRILL. THIS IS A DOUBLE TRIP. Our two crews will be backpacking up to a gorgeous bluff overlooking the ocean from two different trailheads and meeting up to camp together. We’ll then go our own ways the next morning to explore the Big Sur wilderness before meeting up AGAIN at our second night’s camp in the beautiful forests (with redwoods!) of the Silver Peak Wilderness, passing 2 beautiful waterfalls: Manning Falls (owned by Peyton’s great great grandfather) and Salmon Creek Falls (“Two branches of water unite as they drop 120 feet and crash into the pool below, giving rise to a spray of mist.” Just like our trip!). On Sunday we’ll hike out, and head back to ‘SC flying down the PCH.
**There may or may not be a special guest appearance by someone whose name rhymes with ShmAlex ShmAmato.
