Start: 09/26/2014 End:09/28/2014
Activity: Backpackin', Meditatin', Havin'Fun, Snackin', Buildin' muscles
Difficulty: Moderate to Strenuous. 16-18 miles: new backpackers welcome, but expect steep uphill climbs and rough terrain
Get ready to reflect. Reflecting on ourselves through meditation, journalling, sketching, u name it. Whilst we are introspectively ruminating, we will also get the chance to see our reflections come to life in multiple, beautiful lakes. ALL sorts of lofty alpine lakes: Garnet Lake, Thousand Island Lake, maybe we will even swing by Shadow Lake.
No time is better than late September 😉 for a trip to Inyo National Forest. Afton and Martha are your compassionate and able-bodied guides on this 2 day hiking excursion into Mama Nature. We’ll drive up Friday to the Agnew Meadow campsite, then we’ll spend the rest of the weekend exploring watery wonders in the tall, tall mountains!
This trip has the best of both worlds: super strenuous hiking, and chiller relaxing meditation. Explore the dichotomy of muscle strain and mind rejuvenation.
Reflect. Ponder. Muse. Ruminate. Speculate. Stew. Contemplate. Noodle Around.
