Difficulty: Difficult - A real backpacking trip hiking at altitude.
Get ready for an intense two days of backpacking in the High Sierras at beautiful King’s Canyon with Rob & Big, AKA Conner. With a lot of neature to take in and a relatively short amount of time, these two days will be filled to the brim with activities such as hiking, playing I Spy, identifying rare bird mating calls, mimicking said bird calls, more hiking, urinating in the wilderness, making daisy chains, fine tuning your new Insta-post, and snuggling up to Rob late at night.
As this trip is a real backpacking trip, we will be covering a lot of ground and seeing a lot, so come ready to hike approximately 20 miles during our time together. Experience with backpacking or hiking long distances is preferred but not needed, so if you’re down for a great adventure, sign yourself up. We’ll be leaving from campus early Friday morning and returning late Saturday night, so your Sunday will be free for you to rest, do homework, and tell your friends about how your weekend was so much better than theirs.
Pro tip: In-n-Out tastes a lot better on the way home after a strenuous hike.
