Want to get sendy in more ways than one? Come on this Basecamp trip!
Thursday night we’ll make an evening departure to the Mammoth Lakes area. Friday we will send the magnificent Cloudripper peak in the Eastern Sierra for a nice 4000′ of elevation gain and 13,500′ at the summit. This includes some class III scrambling at the top. Due to the challenge and strenuous level of this trip, sign ups are by application only. Find the application form here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1E0FQ-81CeW3OPN0FKC4Nlb3GYJC-ExQ2Vn5w1tEcml0/edit
After a strenuous and fun day in the high country, we’ll return to the Owen’s valley where we’ll enjoy a nice soak and decompress our muscles at the beautiful “Crab Cooker” hot springs.
On Saturday we’ll meet up with the other Basecamp trips at Lake Crowley. This will be a great opportunity to meet and socialize with other SCO members and lovers of the outdoors!
On Sunday we’ll have a relaxing morning of bouldering in Bishop, one of the best bouldering spots in the entire United States.
