Difficulty: A difficult hike with several thousand feet of elevation gain.
This is a challenging hike through beautiful mountainous terrain. We will start off hiking through a canyon alongside a stream, then move up onto a ridge from which we can access several different peaks. We will plan on only going for Cucamonga (elevation 8,859′) but if we’re feeling especially industrious and zesty we might try for one or two more. It will probably be snowy! Be ready for a tough uphill climb with 4,300′ of elevation gain and a total out-and-back distance of 11.6 miles. Let’s get out there and bag a peak!
