Come learn to surf where the waves are gentle, the water is clean, and the homes are unfathomably expensive! This is a surf trip to beautiful Malibu, the original center of the California surfing craze. No surfing experience necessary, but please do know how to swim. If you already shred like the Duke, you’re more than welcome to sign up too.
We’ll head out after class on Friday before rush hour and cruise up PCH to Malibu, where we will rent boards for whoever needs them. Surf lesson #1 will take place Friday afternoon right next to the Malibu pier at Surfrider beach. Afterwards we’ll set up camp at Leo Carillo State Beach for the night and recharge for a sunrise surf session on Saturday. Hiking, stargazing, and the best breakfast burrito of your life may also be included!
Meet: Meet 2:00pm at Trojan Grounds (Starbucks).
Return: Back at USC by 4:00pm Saturday.
