Activity: Hiking, Climbing
Difficulty: Strenuous -- 3100' of total elevation gain, 3 peaks and approximately 10 miles.
Join us as we summit three of the most beautiful peaks in the Angeles High Country. First we will bag Mt. Waterman, at 8038′. Mt. Waterman is an old ski hill, which has recently been retired due to excessive global warming. After summiting Mt. Waterman, we will descend its South face heading towards the beautiful, and quite remote, Twin Peaks in the San Gabriel Wilderness. We will first ascend the Western peak at 6880′, followed by the beautiful Eastern peak at 6540′. Both provide sweeping views of the surrounding mountains, and even the Pacific Ocean, on a clear day.
