In November 1952, a small plane crashed into the side of this mountain (that’s how high it is), killing Frank Sinatra’s mother and twelve other unlucky passengers. Now, 62 years later, is your time to pay homage to the late great Mrs. Sinatra en route to the top of San Gorgonio– the tallest peak in Southern California and the only spot to snag those 360 views of everything from Death Valley to Nevada. Join us as we embark on an overnight spectacular that will feature high altitude but good attitudes, cold air but warm friends, and 22 miles of challenging hiking but pleasant three-part harmonies.
Meet: Meet at 7:00AM Friday 11/14
Return: Back at USC late Saturday night
Pre-Trip Meeting: Wednesday, 11/12, 8PM.
