Start: 04/28/2017 End:04/30/2017
Activity: Hiking / Car Camping
Difficulty: Very strenuous: 14 mile, high altitude hike!
it’s stop days, and you know what that means – no studying whatsoever and go on a bunch of adventures. We’re kickstarting the break with a two night trip to Death Valley, featuring an ascent of 11,000-ft Telescope Peak with sweeping views of the valley below. If you’re looking for a challenging hike and some iconic desert scenery, holla at me.
***DISCLAIMER*** This hike will be very strenuous. We will be starting before dawn and covering 14 miles with 3000 feet of elevation gain. All of this will be occurring at high altitude, over 8000 feet. High altitude hiking experience, tolerance for cold and snowy conditions, and a high level of physical fitness are a must for this trip. If you have any questions, please contact Ben (email@example.com) or Karl (firstname.lastname@example.org).
