Have you heard about USC Orientation’s best kept secret?
SC Outfitter’s OutdoOrientation!
There’s no better way to start your college experience.
OutdoOrientation is a 4 day, 3 night trip to Catalina Island. During the trip, we will take day hikes across the island, relax at the beach, and also have the chance to snorkel and kayak at the Wrigley Institute, USC’s environmental studies campus on Catalina. We’ll spend the night in tents at some of Catalina’s gorgeous campsites.
This trip is run by SC Outfitters, USC’s student-run outdoor adventure group (and in our opinion, the best organization on campus!). Fueled by our passion for the outdoors, our assortment of 40+ volunteer student guides organize trips for the entire USC student body to explore the Los Angeles wilderness.
The trip begins on Saturday August 17 and ends on Tuesday August 20, just in time for you to move in to your dorm and experience all of Welcome Week!
We’ll store all your belongings you won’t need on the island securely and provide early move-in to your USC housing on Tuesday.
The cost of the trip is $350 (all-inclusive)
Sign-ups will begin in early August at www.usc.edu/welcomeweek
