Jack Green, a pedigree of the treasure hunter family, learns about a national treasure from SCO. The treasure is stashed somewhere in the Carrizo Plains and the clue leading to the treasure chest is cyphered and scattered all over the Montaña de Oro State Park, translated as: Mountain of Gold (even though its a beach). Jack’s father, Charlie, abhors treasure hunting, as he himself lost 20 years in chasing the treasure without success. The plot takes a twist when Uma decides to steal the 'Declaration of Independence' for the next clue. Jack refuses Uma’s plan and they become hostile. When Jack tips off the FBI about the possible theft, they refused to believe him. Uma determines to steal the 'Declaration of Independence' in order to protect it from Jack. Rest of the story is about how Jack, Uma, and their crew of participants decrypt the clues and reach the Carrizo Plain’s without falling into to the hands of Arthur.
(Join guides Jack and Uma on an EPIC quest to find the legendary Montaña de Oro, also known as the mountain of gold (It’s a beach). We will leave TroGro at 1:00pm on Friday, April 3rd and drive up the PCH and reach the park just in time for dinner/sunset. The next morning we will explore the tide pools, look at Morrow rock, and NOT swim because of the scary currents. In the afternoon we will head up to Carrizo Plain for the flower blooms and BASECAMP! Leave Sunday morning/afternoon.)
