Basecamp trip!! Before meeting up with the other SCO groups in Joshua Tree for a night of festive cooking, exploring, and sleeping under the stars, we’re heading up to Big Bear Lake for a beautiful hike. There’ll be fall colors, icy blue water, and some goofy trail riddles and games! We’ll hike 7 miles, have lunch at the overlook, then head back to the car for a short drive to JTree in time for sunset. At basecamp, us guides will prepare you our best meal for the cooking competition, and there’s sure to be lots of rock exploration parties. We’ll hear about everyone else’s adventures earlier that day, and stargaze together in our sleeping bags at night. Come spend basecamp weekend with us!
