Hey everyone! Elaine and Logan are leading a Trans/GNC/NB/Intersex affinity trip on Arrastre Creek Trail! The trip itself is a beginner backpacking experience (no previous experience necessary) in the San Bernadino National Forest!! We will be meeting on Saturday at Shack (2647 Orchard Avenue) to set out for about a 2 hour drive to start our hike! We’ll be seeing pine trees, cacti, creeks, meadows, wildlife, panoramic views, and lots of picture opportunities all in the same day, and some stellar skies to camp under! We’ll be back on campus before dinner time the next day, but our pace will be slow to enjoy the wilderness and take plenty of photos! This trip is catered towards members of the transgender, nonbinary, gender nonconforming, and intersex communities for us to explore nature together and discuss our experiences, but any allies are welcome to come! We hope to see you all outdoors, feel free to contact us with any questions!
