We are so excited to lead our second tree tour of the semester! Thanks so much to those who came last month. This time, we’ll be spending our time in the Founder’s Park area and really lingering with the trees. First, SCO guides Sophia and Sedona will identify the trees in the area and give some fun facts about each species. Then, our friend Lola will lead us in a short guided meditation, allowing us to relax and really absorb what we have learned about the trees around us. (No prior meditation experience is necessary.) Then, we will have a sense & savor walk during which each participant wanders freely around the area using their five sense to connect with the trees. We hope to offer a calm & curious space in which to connect with our urban forest. All are welcome! Hope to see you there!
