Greatness. Beyond all possibility of calculation, measurement, or imitation exists for you to explore in the Valley of Yosemite National Park. We’ll depart USC on Friday morning and get lunch on the road before arriving at Yosemite around 3PM. We’ll make a stop at Yosemite’s famous Tunnel View where we’ll take some insta-worthy pictures. After checking into our luxurious tents in Curry Village, we’ll take a short hike around Mirror Lake. At camp, we’ll take in the sweeping views of Yosemite and ponder how we too can be counted among mother earth’s creations. Zoe and Ryan will then prepare a beautiful banquet dinner to fuel up for the next day’s adventures.
On Saturday, we’ll begin our ascent bright and early as we attempt to climb Glacier Point via the Four Mile Trail (which is 10 miles and also very weather-dependent). At the peak, we will be greeted by the sublime nature of the Sierras, fresh air, and a renewed appreciation for the senses of life. We will eat. We will descend.
On Sunday, we’ll begin the famed Vernal and Nevada Falls trail where the roaring waterfalls, misty trail, and glacier-carved mountains will remind us of the cyclical systems of life and time. As we tumble through moments like cascading waters it is important to remember that one can only fail if one is stagnant. We will descend. And ultimately return to USC around 8PM.
An American Mecca, Yosemite imparts wisdom on all who enter. Guaranteed you will return a changed individual. See you out there!
