Are you slumping after Spring Break? Join guides Sidney and Ryan to reach new heights as we summit Strawberry Peak! We’ll gather in the USC Village at 7AM and prepare for our journey. From there, we’ll embark on a breathtaking trail that follows Colby Canyon up until we begin our ascent towards Mount Lawler and Strawberry Peak. This trail is berry challenging with over 11.5 miles to cover, 3,615 feet of elevation gain, and tricky terrain. The route to the top is class 3 scrambling, this requires using all 4 limbs and some significant exposure. THIS IS NOT FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE SCARED OF HEIGHTS. At the top, Sidney and Ryan will chef up a thematically appropriate lunch (strawberry oriented). Afterwards, we’ll descend and aim to be back to campus by 5:00. We’ll be scrambling, adventuring, and having a berry good time. If you think you’re ready to conquer Strawberry Peak, then join us!
