Experience the best of Ojai on this exciting day trip from Los Angeles! We'll kick off our adventure by meeting at the Village Elevators at 8:00 AM before hitting the road towards our first destination, the trailhead, which is approximately a 1.5-hour drive away.
We'll begin our day by hiking along the scenic Pratt Foothill and Fox Canyon loop, covering a distance of 3 miles with an elevation gain of 700 feet. The trail offers breathtaking views and a chance to immerse ourselves in nature. (For more details, check out the trail map here.)
After working up an appetite, we'll enjoy a delightful lunch to refuel for the rest of our day. Then, we'll head to the Ojai Trail Company, where an exciting horseback riding experience awaits us. Saddle up and explore the stunning landscapes of Ojai on horseback for an unforgettable adventure!
Following our horseback ride, we will go to Sanders and Sons Gelato (Grace is VERY excited about this part) in Ojai for a well-deserved post-ride treat. Indulge in delicious gelato flavors and relax after our exciting activities. (Find out more about Sanders and Sons Gelato here.) This excursion is included in the ticket price!
As the day winds down, we'll hit the road back home a, aiming to arrive back on campus by 6:30 PM, capping off a perfect day of adventure, nature, and indulgence in Ojai. Don't miss this opportunity to create unforgettable memories in one of California's most scenic destinations!
