Trip Description: Come join guides Sofia, Joe, and Agustin on our adventure to Oak Glen, Lake Hemet, and Murray Canyon! Enjoying a late start of 12:15pm on Saturday, we will leave from the USC Village and head up the scenic road to the cute town of Oak Glen. Along our exploration of the many shops and mountain views, we will stop at the Stone Pantry Orchard and each pick 1lb of apples, pears, and blackberries before meeting up with the rest of the basecamp trips at the beautiful Lake Hemet. While you frolic and scamper through the lakeside forest with the other campers, Sofia and Agustin will prepare a gourmet dinner for the cooking competition while Joe serenades them with mediocre guitar playing. After the long day, we will enjoy a restful sleep under the stars. But wait! Its not over yet! In the morning after breakfast, we will regroup and head to Seven Sisters Falls in Murray Canyon, embarking on a 3.7 mile roundtrip hike to seven glistening waterfalls. After lunch at the falls, we will head back to the trailhead and arrive to campus before 5pm. We are so stoked and hope to see you there!
